This modification is for the 2008+ DURATEC equipped focus. Starting with 2008 and continuing on with the 2009
focus, Ford has equipped the DURATEC motor with "fly-by-wire" throttle. In other words, the throttle is controlled
by the computer via input by your foot on the gas pedal. With this comes a real feeling of being disconnected to
the motor. This mod is a very simple and easy way to improve throttle response and control over the throttle.

| This mod is super-easy. Just take a 1 foot piece of stereo grounding cable or battery cable and install to end caps with complete circles to put over a screw. One end connects to the negative battery terminal, and the other end connects to a screw on the throttle body. AND YOUR DONE! ENJOY! |
